They do stop growing: Wisdom teeth do stop erupting when they contact an opposing tooth or get hung up with the adjacent tooth.

No: No, they will erupt until the contact the opposing tooth. If no opposing tooth, may erupt til hits the gum on the opposing jaw. If you have a wisdom tooth problem, the best person to see for evaluation is an oral & maxillofacial surgeon.
