Yes indeed: If you have an anemia like this, it is undoubtedly interfering with your ability to function. If this is due to your monthly loss, it's been neglected for way too long. If it's due to some other cause, you're seriously sick. Please comply with whatever workup and instructions have been given you by your hematologist -- these things are usually manageable.
