It's normal: The eosinophil is a cell in our bodies that help us fight parasite infections and also go up when we have allergies. A one time level of 4(L) is not a sign of illness There are many people that go throughout life without any eosinophils. If you have taken steroid injections orPrednisone, this will also push them out of your blood and the test will also show a low level.

Im worried! concern is that my son who is 3.7 years his absolute eosinophils was 610 normal was (15-600) Eosinophils was 9.1 when normal said (0-6) Monocytes was 11.7 when normal says (0-10) Is this concern? He has frequent egzema and allergies?
Had blood work done for allergies. Eosinophils absolute result of 0.1 x10E3/uL, or 0.11 k/uL, is this normal? What exactly does this test result show? So confused by it. Eusinophil % is 1.6, WBC is 6.9. Seems to be in normal range, is this true?
