My mom for 10 years has had increasing throbbing pain in both lower legs upon standing. walking lessens pain. - doppler perfect bloodwork.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could Be Stenosis: The symptoms you are describing sound like claudication. This can happen either when blood vessels get narrowed or when the nerves of the spine are compressed especially with standing. If sitting and rest make the pain less, I would consider evaluation with either lumbar MRI or vascular specialist
