A member asked:

Chest pain that is mostly under the collarbone but occasionally can be felt nearer the upper middle chest?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nonspecific: More description of the discomfort is needed in order to make a diagnosis. Possibilities include rib cage or muscular strain or inflammation, esophageal inflammation, lung or heart disorders. If symptoms persist your physician will take a thorough history, examine you and order appropriate tests in order to make a diagnosis.
