Chest mass: Many possibilities, but commonly benign explanations are sebaceous cysts, furuncle (deep abscess), and lipoma (less painful). Less likely breast related mass or lymph node, vascular anomalies should be considered.

Chest wall mass: Could be just about anything from an abscess, inclusion cyst, lipoma or possibly a reactive lymph node. If it persists see your doctor. They may suggest an FNA, fine needle aspiration so that cells can be examined by a pathologist. They could also elect just to excise it and send the whole lesion for pathology review.
