Costochondritis: Typically Costochondritis is a common malady which .usually lasts 3-4 weeks and can resolve with rest, (avoid actitivities which increase pain)use of anaprox (naproxen) 550mg 2x a day. Many times the cause of its onset is hard to determine but can be secondary to minor repetitive trauma, or post upper respiratory infection (viral or bacterial)

Hello! I have been dealing with chest pain that was DX as costochondritis for about 3 and a half weeks now. It's very uncomfortable and painful. Are there any ways to get relief? I can also feel swollen areas around my right breast bone.
