Maybe esophagus: Could be an esophageal motility disorder such as esophageal spasm or a nutcracker esophagus. Need a high resolution motility study to find out. This is a small tube placed in to the esophagus, and you swallow water 10 times. Done without sedation, and takes about 15'. May also need a barium swallow. Usually ordered by primary care or GI doctor. Hope this helps!
