Hip: The problem that you're having in your hip could be related to either and irritation of the Cartlidge or a small disruption of the cartilaginous surface for a labral tear. If the symptoms have recurred then maybe time to be evaluated by orthopedic surgeon and have a good physical examination of the hip question. If the symptoms persist consideration for an MRI of her hip with contrast to rule out a label tear for a chondral defect

Hip pain: vague to say hip. Is pain in the butt area, the groin, or the outside of the hip? There are different sources for pain in each of these. If the outside of the hip area, you have trochanteric bursitis whichcan be treated with cold packs and medication but may require steroid injections and physical therapy. If you're referring to groin pain then you may have a labral tear which an MRI to diagnose.
