Imaging may miss 10%: 1 in 9 women in the United States will get breast cancer at some point in their lives. So when a women comes in with symptoms of breast cancer such as a bloody nipple discharge, its taken very seriously. Bloody nipple discharge isn't really normal in any woman. Even though the initial tests are reassuring, its routine to refer to a specialist for a second opinion just in case. Best wishes!
