Lump in breast - had mammo & ultrasound - seeing breast surgeon next week. lump is hard doesn't move - has grown since i found it - should i worry?

It sounds worrisome: I don't like giving worrisome news in this format, but i assume you want honesty. Without seeing the images, it is obviously hard to say, but the description sounds suspicious for cancer and if they are sending you to a breast surgeon then someone felt it was concerning enough to take it out. On the plus side, if it is cancer, there is a good chance at cure if it is limited to the breast.
