DDD: What you have is lumbar degenerative disc disease and this is because the disks in your lumbar spine which are the cushions are constantly irritated and the nerves with in the disks cause pain. You should probably see an orthopedic surgeon who will probably send you for something called discography which will help to identify which disks are bad and if the injections have not helped you then you mwhat you have is lumbar degenerative disc disease and this is because the disks in your lumbar spine which are the cushions are constantly irritated and the nerves with in the disks cause pain.
