Need to see images: Scheuerman's disease is also known as vertebral epiphysitis, usually involving the thoracic spine, typically adolescent males. It can involve the lumbar spine. There are a number of criteria that need to be met, generally based on the appearance of lateral spine radiographs. Need abnormal angulation (kyphosis) and wedging of least 3 adjacent vertebrae. Please see your doctor and check report.
