Grinding: There are multiple reasons why people grind at night, the most common is psychosomatic and not treatable by a dentist. It is important that you limit the damage to the teeth and jaw. The easiest option is a night guard but more involved treatment may be needed. See a dentist for eval and get a custom night guard, otc do not work properly.

Sleep Bruxism: Bruxism (grinding teeth) is not a dangerous problem. However, it can cause permanent damage to the teeth and uncomfortable jaw pain. See dentists who have more experience in evaluating bruxism and treating TMJ.
