Yes: With newer technology, scientists have been able to make smaller, wireless sensors to monitor the heart rhythms that are just as effective as the older holter monitors that had electrodes and wires attached to a recorder! In some ways, the strip is better, because it is less likely to accidentally get unplugged or catch on clothing!
