Just swollen or: Or are they sore also? Does it hurt to swallow? Has anyone you have been near been ill? Do you otherwise feel ok? Do the tonsils have a white-yellow coating over them? Very, very, very rarely some types of cancer can present as swelling in the throat. Some times the swelling can be persistent after viral infections. If it has been a month, seeing a doctor for an exam could give you piece of mind.
