Breathing difficulty: If there is breathing difficulty, then please see a clinic or hospital. Treatment with both Tylenol every 4 hours and ibuprofen every six hours may reduce the fever. If the cough or fever persist for three days or more, please see your pediatrician. Continue to provide fluids, treat fever and observe carefully.

39.1: Fever higher than that seen with teething. Fever + cough indicate viral infection. May need additional measures beyond just ibuprofen. Call hisPediatrician and report symptoms. Pediatrician will advise as to treatment. Also, ALL children should see Dentist for 1st oral examination no later than 1st b'day. Recommend a specialist Pedodontist who can help manage teething.
