Diagnosed w/ chronic gastritis via scope. No H pylori. Being treated and have had many other tests but not CT scan. Want to trust my doc but read that conditions like pancreas cancer can be mistaken for gastritis. How do I know to seek second opinion?
Terrified of pancreatic cancer. Doc not concerned. Have dull persistent pain on lowest left rib, mild gastritis found on upper scope, mild back pain. Doc thinks slipped rib and gastritis. Have had all tests but CT, doc reluctant to order CT. Concern?
