Hello docs. i was wondering can ultrsound detect gastritis?

No it can not: Gastritis is a clinical diagnosis and ultrasound can not detect this condition.Only endoscopy can detect/confirm the diagnosis of gastritis by direct vision by scope and by taking a biopsy to see the pathological changes.
