Gallbladder pain: If you are feeling pain on your left side, then the gallbladder is an unlikely culprit. The gallbladder is best felt under your right ribcage in the front. Pain from infection or blockage can result in right shoulder blade pain, mid belly pain or even right lower quadrant pain (valentino's appendix). Increased gas, foul diarrhea and pain worsened by fatty foods are common symptoms.
