Discomfort inguinal: For long you had these symptoms? Is it present all the time? day and night?or in an a standing position?, goes away lying flat? If this is the case I would think you may have a small femoral/inguinal hernia. Can you examine yourself, stand up, apply tension to the abdominal muscles, perhaps this will generate the symptoms. Then with the tip of he fingers gently try to find a spot which wouldinduce the worst discomfort, then cough, if it gets worse is an hernia. You should see a surgeon, he will advice treatment, which nowadays is performed using endoscopic techniques. Other issues can be related to lymph nodes, inflammation, but this event the discomfort is constant.
