Yesterday i went to the er for rectal bleeding after bm. the dr did some kind of exam to check for blood. the area still hurts badly and feels bruised?

Rectal pain: Consider sitz baths, sitting warm soapy water 2-3 x a day, consider a cushion, with cut out when seated. May have hemorrhoids fissure or infection.. Would follow up with urgent care or GI , they can look externally , make sure not infected and possibly prescribe steroid cream, or protofoam, possibly antibiotics. ( You can say you don't want them to go inside) Please f/u today.
