A member asked:

I have been diagnosed with epstein barr virus and hpv. is it possible for me to donate bone marrow to my half sister who has b cell lymphoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: HPV is not a contraindication to bone marrow dontation EBV, since 60% of americans at least are infected with it usually have the infection under immune control and are not therefore routinely excluded from donating The doctors dealing with this will want to know, however, and I think they routinely screen for it anyway, and may need to do some further blood tests
