A member asked:

My father in law recently passed away with leukaemia and lymphoma, and he had richters in the cell too. my question is, why did none of this ever show up in blood tests? it was only diagnosed from the bone marrow biopsy? is that usual?

Depends on the symptoms and the tests done. Generally both the conditions can be diagnosed by blood tests and xrays It is unusual. Your doc should be able to explain it since he/she has all the info.
