A member asked:

Boyfriend has sunburn. he had bone marrow transplant as kid for burkitt's lymphoma. sunburn could cause blood to react. what should he look out for?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing special: I'm happy for this young man, both for his having gotten a second chance at life through scientific medicine, and that he has you. Thankfully, there's nothing special that he needs to worry about, given that he's done so well over all these years. Sunburn actually has negligible impact on any chemical or immune parameters. Perhaps he would enjoy having you rub sunscreen all over him. Best wishes.
