Er: Yes, please visit the ER. Chills can be indicative that you have a blood infection and you deserve immediate evaluation. If your tests have been negative in the past but you do not feel well, always err on the side of caution because chills can be a dangerous symptom and you have severe pain that needs evaluation and treatment with a full history and exam. Type your question...Diagnosed with diverticulosis 3 years ago. Occasionally I have small cramp like pain in lower left abdomen. Usually on and off for a day and then stops. No fever or chills. Is this something that is just part of the diverticulosis?
