Type your question...diagnosed with diverticulosis 3 years ago. occasionally i have small cramp like pain in lower left abdomen. usually on and off for a day and then stops. no fever or chills. is this something that is just part of the diverticulosis?

Not diverticulitis?: Colonic diverticulosis are permanent outpouchings of the colon lining. Diverticular complications include: inflammation (diverticulitis), abscess, bleeding, fistulas, perforation, etc. Your symptoms as described are more likely not diverticular in origin, but anything's possible.
