I'm sorry: The vast majority of cerebellar degeneration cases are not treatable; only a few have metabolic defects that can be addresses and i trust these were sought. The illness is caused by die-off of brain cells as in alzheimer's & I am sorry if you have been offered false hope. You have a right to know if this is the result of an identified genetic defect & if so how this can help you plan your family.
