Be patient. : Some children are delayed in their verbal and motor skills. She should be seen regularly by a pediatrician who can keep track of her development and alert you if he or she is concerned about her progress. You can also enrich her environment with toys that stimulate her senses and continue to maintain regular interaction with her even if you feel discouraged. She may surprise you later.

Seek medical help: You should take your daughter in for an exam with her physician and discuss your concerns. There are some developmental screening exams that are age specific that can be done that are very effective when screening for autism. And at that time your can determine if further evaluation or work up is needed.
