If an x-ray shows fractures in ankle (likely 2 wks old), is 10 days in a nwb boot enough time to allow for healing?

No: Ankle fractures typically require 6 weeks for healing to occur. Very few fractures require only 10 days in a NWB boot.

25 or 6 24.: Most fractures take a lot longer than (24) days to heal completely. Having said that, I suppose there are a few that can be stable enough to go without total immobilization for less time. Without seeing the X-rays , it would be hard to imagine that (24) days would be sufficient time to afford healing.
