It's the shoes....: The theory is not all that complicated. Corns, or other descriptives of hard skin, are the result of pressure. normal skin gets trapped in-between two hard surfaces. The surfaces can be a bone and another bone, a bone and a shoe or even a bone and the floor. If the pressure becomes excessive in duration or degree, the skin will react to form callus. Resolution takes reducing the pressure.
