i stopped drinking milk a few years ago without compensating with more calcium rich foods. what kind of harm have i done to my body? age 30.

May not be much: You need about 500 mg day of calcium suplements and vitmain D up to 4000IU/day depending on your levels. You physician can help you with the monitoring. At your age you can still improve your bone bank of calcium with diet.

Ignore it: Blood calcium is unrelated to dietary calcium. Lab reference ranges are set so that a few percent of healthies fall outside on either end.

Cheese: Any milk like products such as cheese and yogurt will do. Many prenatal vitamins also contain calcium.
