A member asked:

I'm lactose but i start drinking silk almond milk can that help with , aging of the bones? and how much calcium should i intake?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You need calcium: Unless the silk almond milk specifically states that it is fortified with calcium, it would not be a good source of calcium and you would need other calcium supplementation. You also need vitamin d to help build those strong bones and prevent bone-loss related diseases. Speak with a dietician regarding specific amounts daily, as this depends on age, weight, other meds taking, etc. Be strong!
