Diarrhea for weeks: Has he been well (gastrointestinally speaking) up until now? Any one else in his circle of contacts similarly ill? Most common cause of diahrrea in US is viral but other things too. Any family history of chronic GI diseases? Peds gastroenterologist can help workup for zebras. Good luck!
