4 to 5 hours, 8 year old son has distended abdomen with severe abdominal cramping around the appendix area (lower right side). possibly triggered by a lot of jumping off high objects (jungle gym) today. some nausea, no vomiting or diarrhea?

See a Dr: You should take your son to the emergency department of any local hospital. Distended abdomen with pain could be many things including appendicitis which will involve emergent testing and treatment. The Dr will examine him, order lab tests and maybe imaging. Then once he has all the results he will determine the best course of action.
