As long: as it is a simple cyst, it shouldn't cause any problems or require any treatment. In rare cases, benign cysts grow very large and can cause symptoms simply due to their size, but that is unusual. Kidney cysts are very common. ""Exophytic" simply means it is protruding from the nromal margin of the kidney, it doesn't imply that there is anything worrisome.
