Hopelessly vague: That's like saying you haven't driven your car for 5 months because of "engine trouble." There are dozens (if not more) kinds of neuropathy. Which do you have? If the doc didn't explain, ask. If you didn't listen to his/her explanation, or you ignored everything except the word "neuropathy," ask again. You have a right to (and clearly you need) an explanation in terms you can understand.
