Easily done...: The simplest test is feel for the pulses in your foot. Specifically for the dorsalis pedis and posterior tibialis arteries. An additional test is to have the patient lie down on their back and hold their legs in an elevated position for several minutes. Their should be no pain in the calves, legs or feet.
