Dr. Alvin Lin answered

Trying to conceive: Duphaston is a brand of dydrogesterone, available outside States, used to treat menstrual disorders such as irregular and/or painful periods. As such, bleeding can be expected upon stopping this medication, but it's still best to discuss w/your prescribing doc who should have explained what & when to expect. Re TTC, see your Family Doc to be sure you're healthy enough. Start taking Folic Acid.
