Predicting Ovulation: You can monitor your ovulation using Ovulation predictior kits (OPKs) sold in major drug stores. Talk with your GYN to help you determine when to start and for how many days given irregular periods with PCOS. OPKs help detect the LH surge, which occurs 12 to 36 hours before ovulation. Just follow the instructions that come with the kit. If that fails, talk to your GYN about other methods like US.

Ovulation kits: You can try urine testing for ovulation starting on day 10 of your cycle (day 1 is start of your cycle). However, given that you rely on medications to start your cycle you may encounter negative ovulation testing. In that case, it's best to see a fertility specialist as medications that induce ovulation may be needed.

Ovulation kits: You should be able to purchase ovulation prediction kits assuming you are having periods now that you are on the medication. A positive test in the kit typically means ovulation is going to occur in about 24 hours.

You can use: an ovulation predictor kit but it is best if you try to learn by yourself how you feel when you ovulate. That would be more accurate because sometime the ovulation predictor kit does not function right.

There are: ovulation indicator tests available at your pharmacy. Some women have pain or other symptoms to indicate ovulation. By the way, the most effective metformin dose is 1000 mg twice daily with meals.
