A member asked:

Hi, my doctor thinks i could have pcos so he put me on duphaston every 16days after first day of last period for 10d for 3 cycles. i took plan b the day right after my periods ended on july 18 and now am bleeding im not sure whats happening?

The diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome is usually confirmed by ultrasound (showing multiple ovarian cysts). Ovulation is very irregular, so menstruation is as well. Bleeding from "Plan B" may occur a few days after the hormones wear off. Ask your GYN physician about oral birth control pills, which is the current treatment for PCOS, for guidance.
