The diagnosis of polycystic ovarian syndrome is usually confirmed by ultrasound (showing multiple ovarian cysts). Ovulation is very irregular, so menstruation is as well. Bleeding from "Plan B" may occur a few days after the hormones wear off. Ask your GYN physician about oral birth control pills, which is the current treatment for PCOS, for guidance.
