Breast pain: Pain is the most common problem involving the breast. Usually benign. But if the symptom is focal and persists, you should tell your doctor. An ultrasound and or mammogram may be required for evaluation in some circumstances. Breast cancer is extremely rare at your age, but not unheard of. Never ignore a lump -even if its been there for a while. Your doctor can help to decide if testing is needed.
