Changes with periods: Are completely normal, especially if you revert back to what you were before the swelling. If you wish to explore methods on how to manage it best, you should see your gynecologist for further advice.

"Immensely"?: How is this something you even need to ask online? If one breast balloons up monthly with your cycle and causes pain, you need it evaluated, by your gyn--ideally while it is swollen. Will need ultrasound for ovarian cyst evaluation and for breast and may need fine needle biopsy. See your gyn asap.
