Zoloft (sertraline): You may not notice anything at all in the first week, . Side effects like upset stomach are common, but not everyone experiences them. In preclinical studies, 25% of zoloft (sertraline) users had nausea compared to 10% of those on placebo. With headache, 25% of zoloft (sertraline) users had this compared with 23% on placebo. So, the majority of people tolerate zoloft (sertraline) well -- & it needs 6-8 weeks to see positive effect.
