Maisonneueve fracture, can i start walking 10 weeks post op. 8 weeks nwb 4 partial weight bearing, ankle feels good to ditch crutches, this okay?

Ankle fracture: When ever a patient has surgical correction of a fracture ,they should address their postop concerns to/with the surgeon. Partial wt bear for 4 weeks means continuing to use the crutches for that entire time. These recommendations are made by the length of time it takes for the bone and ligaments to heal enough to tolerate forces to walk unaided

Potentially: Yes, potentially. You would need to make sure that your injury is healed to the extent that it is safe to do so first, but most times 10 weeks is sufficient for healing.
