how many hrs. does hymenectomy surgery last?my gyn sched me for it this yr bcoz of my tight hymen.why i'm not allow to eat/drink before the surgery?

Simple procedure: I can't give specifics but it will take longer to sedate you and wake you up after.They don't want you to fill your stomach because the you can throw up while sedated and your sedated body cannot keep the throw-up from going into your lungs, a potentially fatal complication. Follow their instructions and you will be safe.
