The soles of my feet turned orange overnight. i have checked shoes and it isn't them. i haven't been eating a lot of food rich in carotene.

Discoloration: on the bottom of the feet is not typical. To determine the exact cause and treatment you will need a physical exam virtually or in person. Keep tract of all foods and supplements that you have recently been taking to narrow down the cause and let your doctor know!

Walking on Cheetos.: I know of no physiological reason to cause just the soles of feet to turn orange overnight. Carotene could possibly discolor the soles, but that would take some time. I have a sense that it is strictly on the soles and not on the arch. The oranged areas are in direct contact with a surface while standing or walking. You feet must have came in contact with a chemical that has colored your skin.
