See below: That is the typical presentation of roseola. Fever for several days followed by a rash. The illness is no longer contagious and the rash is typically not bothersome to the child, so there is nothing else that needs to be done. The rash should disappear is the next few days.

You are over worst: Once the rash appears, the worst of the illness is already over and done with. As you saw, baby usually has pretty high fever for a few days, then the fever breaks and the rash appears. Now is no longer contagious, and nothing you need to do anymore. The rash will fade on its own in a couple of days. One childhood illness down - ? Many to go!
