Keep going..: Unfortunately, sometimes there is pain before gain. If your ear is raw and sensitive, any med is likely to feel uncomfortable. But unless you push through that discomfort, the ear can't get better. It's like you need to eat when you have diarrhea even though it will make the diarrhea worse the first 1-2 days. Give the treatment a few days to work, and then if not improving, have it reassessed
