Either: I would recommend whichever is most effective for you and gives you fewer side effects. Paxil (paroxetine) can be sedating for many people which could effect your ability to care for your baby. As far as breastfeeding there is no evidence that either would be transferred into your baby's milk. Hope this helps. Good luck

Either: Based on the literature, nursing babies are almost all completely spared exposure to both these drugs, so there is no need to avoid breastfeeding while taking either of the medications. If you have better personal experience with one of them than the other in the past, you might choose that one regardless of the dose. If not, then Zoloft (sertraline) may be a better first choice from a tolerability standpoint.
